A Children’s Book by Karen Wu

“A Busy Day on Cherry Lane” evolved out of an award-winning painting.  The artwork was so inspiring that the stories of the featured characters came to life.  This started in the author’s youth when she and her mother created stories around the various squirrels and rabbits surrounding the cherry tree and continued into adulthood as Karen Wu found herself as an artist.  This is a true instance of art inspiring art over the generations.
